Atomic Veterans were forbidden to disclose any information until 1996, when President Clinton lifted the veil of secrecy concerning an individual’s involvement in the atomic test program. Ever since then, Atomic Veterans have been sharing their experiences and consequences resulting from their exposure to radiation.
